WHY APARTMENTS?
Bay Flats LLC exists to rehabilitate an overlooked housing stock that often falls between the private investor and the institutional conglomerates. These hand picked these multifamily properties and are purchased in a wide variety of conditions. We provide local and personal service while allowing our tenants the privacy and respect they need to succeed in their daily lives.
ST. MARY’S COUNTY
Born and raised in Lexington Park, and a Great Mills High School alumni, St. Mary’s County was the logical place to put down roots and to buy our first investment property. Two years later another multi-family property became available just around the corner and instead of buying a ‘normal house’ my wife and I took the plunge and committed to investing in our own corner of of the Chesapeake Bay region.

Our mission is to provide quality housing options for individuals and families while working to maintain and continually improve the properties that own and manage.
HOW DID WE GET STARTED?
Purchasing our first multi-family property in 2016 using an FHA secured owner occupied loan we started on a journey that would lead to the founding of Bay Flats LLC in the summer of 2019. Our business has developed around the “buy and hold” real estate philosophy. This model allows us to work with sellers to purchase income producing properties that have been well used and are ready to start cycling through updates and upgrades. We are also currently expanding into the property management field for owners who are still interested in holding onto their properties.
